– افرادی که تجربه چندانی ندارن.
– افرادی که دانششون به روز نیست. از این مورد خیلی دیدم. فیلد ما فقط در صورتی عالیه که دانشت رو بروز نگه داری. واسه همینه که من فقط به آدمایی که خیلی به IT علاقه دارن توصیه ش می کنم.
– کسانی که توی Soft Skills خیلی ضعیفن یا انگلیسیشون ضعیفه.
– کسانی که رزومه و کاورلتر نویسی بلد نیستن.
– کسانی که تو شهرهای کم نیاز تر زندگی می کنن و حاضر نیستن به شهر دیگه ای نقل مکان کنن. گرچه اکثر شهرها الان بسیار نیاز دارن.

I’ve got to call BS to this as well, there are lots of senior IT people looking for work in Canada so where are these jobs or what exactly are they looking for that these folks don’t have? IT has become a horrible career choice as experience is worse then worthless as it has become a detriment to employment, and you will be ‘retired’ long before you are 65 and looking for a new career outside of IT.

If you want to make 20,000 a year, working 70 hours a week at a start-up company which may not exist longer than a few months its great. It should read ‘over 3,800 IT jobs needed in the Kitchener-Cambridge-Waterloo’ region. If you don’t personally know any hiring managers in this region do not come to this region. They have a secret hand shake.The Waterloo emperor is not wearing any underwear;)

ol this is a good one…I have been searching for work in ICT since I graduated in late 2013…and have not seen one iota of a shortage! Trust me, I have applied to every job I have seen without so much as a pre-screen/interview invitation phone call or whatever for my efforts. 182,000? maybe they meant 182!

‘ve worked in the IT industry off and on since ’99 doing desktop support. This labour market report on a perceived shortage of workers in the IT industry is total BS. Companies can and ARE finding IT workers to “fill gaps” by using temp and recruitment agencies. I was laid off in March of ’15 and I’ve yet to find another job in the field. Not to toot my own horn, but if there was a true shortage of IT workers in this country I’d be working again by now. So, believe me when I tell you that there is NO shortage. The only thing there’s a shortage of are employers willing to pay respectable living wages (read: adequate remuneration) for the myriad of skills and knowledge they expect every potential employee to have. Actually, a lot of companies are averse to hiring workers on a permanent basis at all any more. The trend towards hiring people to work FT but on a contract basis (so they don’t have to pay benefits) is very common now. Regardless, they’re all looking for Unicorn employees – those with years of experience and that have every skill on their wish list. Yet, even if someone comes close to being the ideal fit they expect them to work for wages that are absolutely pitiful. Cheap SOBs. Seriously; so many of them now have this attitude of, “this is what we’re willing to pay – take it or leave it”. It’s pathetic. I wish the talk/rumours of a shortage were real but there’s simply no truth to it.

اینکه کار همش یادگیری نیست و خیلی وقت ها تکراریه طبیعیه. من جات باشم می گردم ببینم کار بهتری می تونم گیر بیارم یا نه. اگه تونستم سعی می کنم با کارفرمام مذاکره کنم تا شرایط کاریم رو بهتر کنه. اگر نکرد میرم کار بهتر رو می گیرم. سعی کن از بهترین موقعیت های اطرافت استفاده کنی. موفق باشی!

یه سوال درباره اولین تجربه کاری داشتم . من با برنامه نویسی ، تفریبا ترم ۱ و ۲ دانشگاه آشنا شدم (قبلش تو دبیرستان آشنایی خیلی کمی داشتم در حد کد های سادهc++ ) . ترم ۱-۲ ، درسای مبانی و پیشرفته رو گذروندم و با جاوا ، نسبتا خوب آشنا شدم . از اول ترم ۳ هم یه شرکت به عنوان کار آموز پذیرفت منو . خب طبیعتا آشنایی من با اون مقیاس پروژه صفر بود و برای هر بخش کد که میخواستم بخونم و جز منطقش ، بفهمم چیکار میکنه ، سوال زیاد پرسیدم و خیلی یاد گرفتم . با اینکه به نظرم سرعت یادگیری این محیط خیلی بیشتر از اینه که خودم کار کنم ، اما مشکلی که وجود داره اینه که طبیعتا بعضی وقت ها کار های وقت گیری هم بهم سپرده میشه که توی یادگیری تاثیر چندانی نداره . حالا اینکه همه میگن رو ی اولین تجربه کاریتون حساس باشید ، اینجا هم کاربرد داره یا نه . کلا الان اینجوریه که با اینکه تو شرکت کار وقت گیر هم وجودداره ولی بازم سرعت یادگیری از دانشگاه یا اینکه آدم خودش کار کنه بیشتره . موندن تو همچین جایی میارزه یا نه ؟ یا اینکه بیشتر بهتره برم سمت مدرسه اشتغال دانشگاه مثلا ؟ (یه نکته دیگه اینکه این ۲ ترم روی درسم تا حدی تاثیر داشته و نمراتم نزولی بودن :دی .ولی من همچنان کار رو دوست دارم )

دانشگاه که نه. ولی اگه Web Development Bootcamp خوبی بود خوبه. مدتشونم معمولا چند ماه بیشتر نیست.
ضمنا توصیه می کنم یا بک اند یا فرانت اند تمرکز کنید (فرانت اند رو بیشتر توصیه می کنم). تا می تونید جاوااسکریپتتون رو قوی کنید.
